The BC Flag (Main Mall and Agronomy Road) will be lowered today, Monday, November 7, 2011, to recognize the passing of Ms. Marguerite Primeau, who passed away on October 29, 2011, at the age of 97.
Marguerite Primeau, Associate Professor Emerita of French, started her career at UBC in 1954. She held many ranks within the University, including Lecturer, Instructor, and Assistant Professor, and was promoted to Associate Professor in 1967 in the Department of French, Hispanic and Italian Studies.
