The BC Flag (Main Mall and Agronomy Road) will be lowered on Friday, February 27, in remembrance.
Librarian Emeritus Dan R. Heino passed away on February 12, 2015. Dan earned his MLS from UBC and retired from the Library in 2006. He leaves behind his wife, Librarian Emerita Beverley Scott. There will be a service at 602 Kingsway at 10:00 a.m. on February 28, 2015. Donations can be made to any animal rights group.
