The BC Flag (Main Mall and Agronomy Road) will be lowered on Friday, June 24, in remembrance.
Professor Emeritus Lawrence E. Lowe passed away on June 17, 2016. Dr. Lowe joined the UBC Faculty of Agricultural Sciences in 1966, serving as Associate Dean of the faculty from 1985 to 1991. He retired from the Faculty of Land and Food Systems in 1994.
A Memorial Service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 25 at St. Timothy’s Anglican Church, 4550 Kitchener Street, Burnaby. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
