Sheldon Naiman

 

The BC Flag (Main Mall and Agronomy Road) will be lowered on Monday, August 15, in remembrance.

Dr. Sheldon Charles (Shelly) Naiman passed away on July 24, 2016. Dr. Naiman was the province’s first Clinical Hematologist and the first Head of the Division of Clinical Hematology, serving almost 40 years at VGH and St. Paul’s Hospital. Dr. Naiman and his wife and colleague, Dr. Linda Vickars, created an endowment at the UBC Centre for Blood Research. The Naiman-Vickars Multipurpose Lab in the Life Sciences Centre has been named in recognition.
