The BC Flag (Main Mall and Agronomy Road) will be lowered on Monday, August 29, in memory of Professor Emeritus Robert William Blake, who passed away on July 29, 2016.
Dr. Blake came to the Department of Zoology in 1979, at the age of 25, establishing himself as a prolific researcher and expert in fish locomotion. He was inducted to the Quarter Century Club in 2005, retiring in 2012.
