The BC and UBC flags (at the North Plaza of the Old SUB) will be lowered on Tuesday, August 8, in remembrance.
Professor William (Bill) J. Arnold passed away on July 20, 2017. Dr. Arnold retired in 2005, after heading the Spina Bifida Clinic for 30 years. Dr. Arnold’s specialty was the care and treatment of children with neural tube defects. He was Head of Pediatrics at UBC where he established the first comprehensive multidisciplinary spina bifida clinic in Canada. There will be a Celebration of Life for Dr. Arnold in the early fall.
