Professor Emeritus Tibor Bezeredi passed away on June 21, 2017. Dr. Bezeredi completed his MD at UBC in 1960, returning to teach and practice adult and forensic psychiatry for over 40 years, as Director of Psychiatric Emergency Services and Psychiatric Assessment at Vancouver General Hospital. He was President of the BC Psychiatric Association and served on the Canadian Psychiatric Association executive for 15 years.
