The BC Flag (Main Mall and Agronomy Road) will be lowered today, Friday, November 17, 2011, in memory of Dr. William T. Stanbury, who passed away on October 27, 2011.
Bill Stanbury, Professor Emeritus of Commerce and Business Administration was a faculty member in the Faculty of Commerce and Business Administration (eventually Sauder) from 1970 – 2000, retiring as the UPS Foundation Professor of Regulation and Competition Policy. In 1989, Bill won both the Jacob Biely and the Killiam Research Prizes here at UBC.
