The BC Flag (Main Mall and Agronomy Road) will be lowered today, Thursday July 26th, in memory of Dr. Bomshik Chang, Associate Professor Emeritus of Mathematics, who passed away at 1:30pm on Monday July 16th, 2012.
Dr. Chang was an Associate Professor of Mathematics for 34 years at UBC (1962 – 1996).
A funeral service for Dr. Chang will be held on Thursday, July 26th, at 1:00pm. The funeral service will be held at Ocean View Funeral Home, in Burnaby, BC.
