The BC Flag (Main Mall and Agronomy Road) will be lowered on Wednesday, January 6, in remembrance.
Professor Emeritus Clement Samuel Cope Lear passed away on December 12, 2015. Dr. Lear came to UBC as Professor and Head of Orthodontics in the faculty of Dentistry until his Emeritus appointment in 1990. He maintained his private practice until last month.
A memorial is planned for Saturday, January 30, at 1:00 pm at the Royal Vancouver Yacht Club, 3811 Point Grey Road.
