Dr. Joy Dorothy Coghill, CM, passed away on January 20, 2017. Joy Coghill was an alumna of UBC, an instructor at UBC, and was conferred an Honorary Doctor of Letters by UBC in 1995 for her pioneering work in the West Coast theatre movement. Link to memorial by the Globe and Mail
