Professor Emeritus Irwin Fraser Stewart, CM, passed away on June 5, 2017. A pioneer in the field of Otolaryngology, Dr. Stewart served as Department Head and Chief of Staff at Saint Mary’s Hospital. He has received recognition for his work as a medical professional and for his humanitarian work, in his efforts to bring health care to remote and underserved communities in BC, the Yukon and the developing world.
A Memorial Service in celebration of a beautiful life will be held at Queens Avenue United Church, 529 Queens Avenue, New Westminster on Saturday, July 8 at 11 a.m.
