The BC and UBC flags (at the North Plaza of the Old SUB) will be lowered on Thursday, July 6, in remembrance.
Librarian Emeritus Douglas McInnes passed away recently. Mr. McInnes graduated from UBC in 1955 in Arts and in 1963 from Library Science, returning to a career in different libraries on campus, being appointed University Librarian at UBC in 1982. He retired in 1989.
