Each year, the Office of the President and Human Resources welcomes UBC staff to the new academic year with the Welcome Back Staff BBQ. Held in September and produced by UBC Ceremonies & Events, the event is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy a complimentary lunch, live entertainment, information tables, and the camaraderie of your fellow UBC staff colleagues. Departmental Administrators: In order to confirm your registration, you will need to download an attendee details spreadsheet before completing the web form below. Complete the downloaded Excel spreadsheet and include the requested details for EACH attendee from your unit (don’t forget to include yourself).

PLEASE DO NOT CHANGE THE COLUMNS OF THE SPREADSHEET AT ALL – please fill it in exactly as designed!

Once you have completed the Excel spreadsheet, use the form below to submit your contact information and upload your unit details. Make sure you SAVE the completed spreadsheet to your computer before uploading.

Wristbands for BBQ attendees will be sent to the departmental administrator at the address listed on the web form. Wristbands will be delivered via campus mail one week before the BBQ.

I missed the department’s RSVP deadline. May I still attend the event?

If you missed registering for the BBQ and would like to attend, please bring your UBCcard with you to the Registration Table on the day of the event. A limited number of wristbands will be available for late registrants who meet the eligibility criteria and have valid UBC ID.
