The BC Flag (Main Mall and Agronomy Road) will be lowered today, Monday, May 16, 2011, to mark the passing of Professor Hazel M. Southard.
Southard, Hazel, Assistant Professor Emerita in the School of Occupational Science & Occupational Therapy passed away on May 7, 2011, at the age of 93 – the oldest surviving faculty member of the former School of Rehabilitation Medicine. She was on faculty there from 1967 – 1983 and was the recipient of a 50th Anniversary Medal from the Faculty of Medicine in 2000.
