The UBC Event Professionals Network (EPN) is for members of the UBC community to come together and to share knowledge, resources, and exchange ideas around events at UBC. This group is open to anyone at UBC who organizes, runs, or provides services for events at UBC.
The UBC Event Professionals Network is for members of the UBC community who produce or contribute to events. Whether it is part of your job description, or you are running faculty events off the side of your desk. Our group is for organizers and UBC community service providers such as venues, caterers, AV, IT, marketing, promoters, coordinators, hosts, etc. No matter what you do or the size of your UBC-related event, this group has been established to help facilitate the exchange of ideas, resources, and connect the events community at UBC.
EPN LinkedIn Group
We encourage all EPN members to sign up for the group on LinkedIn as it is our primary tool for communications outside of scheduled meetings. The content and conversations are driven by you. In order to streamline our communications we encourage members to post information about jobs, events, articles of interest, and questions for discussion. If you would like to receive notifications of when an item has been posted you will need to ensure your settings for this group allows you to receive daily digests and notifications of new conversations.
