Taylor, Roy Lewis – passed away on May 2, 2013. Dr. Taylor was Director of the UBC Botanical Garden from 1968 to 1985. He was regarded as a pioneer in horticulture therapy and was internationally renowned for his work directing botanical gardens. In 1997, UBC awarded Dr. Taylor the degree of Doctor of Science (honoris causa).
Siep, William – passed away on April 24, 2013. He was inducted into the 25 Year Club in 1987 from the Department of Geophysics and Astronomy.
Warren, James Beresford – passed away on March 5, 2013. An Associate Professor Emeritus of Commerce, while at UBC, James Warren developed a three-year executive training program, specializing in sales and marketing.
