The BC Flag (Main Mall and Agronomy Road) will be lowered on Friday, January 27, in memory of University Archivist Emerita Laurenda Daniells, who passed away on January 4, 2017. She was a UBC alumna and became the first Head Archivist at the UBC Library, writing about it in her published memoir. Laurenda was pre-deceased by her husband, Roy Daniells, CC, former Head of the Department of English.
