The BC and UBC flags (at the North Plaza of the Old SUB) will be lowered on Tuesday, March 28, in remembrance.
Professor Emeritus David Alexander Boyes, OC, OBC, passed away on March 14, 2017. Dr. Boyes became a clinical instructor of Obstetrics and Gynecology in 1957, retiring in 1990. Dr. Boyes led the BC Cancer Agency to world-wide recognition with his pioneering work in cervical cancer screening. The David Boyes Society is in its 43rd year bringing together local oncology practitioners.
