These events include building openings, program launches and various donor recognition lunches, dinners and receptions.
A number of events are coordinated by this office throughout the year to recognize members of the UBC community:
Students are recognized at events honouring entrance and major student scholarships, academic/athletic achievements and other accomplishments.
Staff are recognized through the UBC Staff Service Recognition Program and related events.
The Ceremonies Office also coordinates an annual dinner to recognize staff who have achieved 25 years of service at UBC. For more information, see 25 Year Club.
Faculty are recognized through the various events to recognize faculty awards and teaching excellence as well as an annual dinner for faculty with 25 years of service.
The Quarter Century Club honours faculty members with 25 or more years of service. For more information, see Quarter Century Club.
