The BC Flag (Main Mall and Agronomy Road) is lowered today Friday, July 15, 2011, to mark the passing of Charles (Chuck) Erickson on July 9, 2011.
Chuck joined UBC on August 23, 1976, and became a member of the 35 Year Club in May, 2011. He served the UBC community as a long-term employee of Financial Services moving from Payroll area to Accounts Payable at various positions. He was the Accounts Payable Customer Relations Supervisor at Financial Services when he passed away.
In lieu of flowers please make donations in Chuck’s memory to the BC Cancer Foundation at 13750 96th Avenue, Surrey, B.C. V3V 1Z2, or a charity of your choice.
A Memorial Service will be held at Bethlehem Lutheran Church at 320 E 15th Avenue, Vancouver, B.C., on Saturday July 30, 2011, at 1:30 pm. As requested by Chuck, please wear casual clothes.
