The BC flag (Main Mall and Agronomy Road) will be lowered on Friday, May 10, in remembrance.
Lewis, Hartley Vanstone – passed away on April 27, 2013. Dr. Lewis taught economics at UBC before moving to Victoria, to the Ministry of Forests, in 1976. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Dr. Lewis’ name to the BC Alzheimer Society.
McDonald, Doug – passed away on May 4, 2013. Doug will be missed by his colleagues in UBC Building Operations, where he has worked since 2003.
A service will be held on Saturday, May 18 at 2:00 pm at the First Memorial Funeral Home, 14835 Fraser Highway, in Surrey.
