The BC Flag (Main Mall and Agronomy Road) will be lowered on Thursday, February 6, in remembrance.
Langston, Irene – passed away on January 28, 2014. Irene was inducted into the 25 Year Club in 1997. After working at UBC for over 40 years, she retired from the Faculty of Medicine in 2013.
Lusztig, Peter A. – passed away on January 26, 2014. Dean Emeritus Lusztig first came to UBC in 1957, and retired in 1995. He was Dean of the Faculty of Commerce and Business Administration from 1977 to 1991. The school earned international recognition as a top research business school under his leadership.
A service will be held on Thursday, February 6, at 3:00 pm at Saint Mary’s Church in Kerrisdale. Please follow this link for more details.
