The BC Flag (Main Mall and Agronomy Road) will be lowered on Thursday, March 13, in memory of Librarian Emeritus Suzanne Cates Dodson, who passed away on March 6, 2014.
After graduating from UBC, Suzanne accepted a position in the UBC Library, where she stayed for 36 years, until her retirement in 1999. The Suzanne Cates Dodson and Earl D. Dodson Reading Room was named in honour of Suzanne and her husband, in recognition of the of their unwavering support of the UBC Library.
