The BC Flag (Main Mall and Agronomy Road) will be lowered on Thursday, May 8, in memory of Dr. Barrie Stuart MacLean, who passed away on May 2, 2014.
Dr. Maclean came to Vancouver in 1972; at the Vancouver General Hospital, he was Chief Resident, and a fellow in paediatric neurology and neonatology. Dr. MacLean was Clinical Professor at UBC, where he served as Assistant Head of the Department of Paediatrics, and Director of the residency program.
