The BC Flag (Main Mall and Agronomy Road) will be lowered on Friday, May 16,in remembrance.
Former Musqueam Chief Delbert Guerin passed away on May 11, 2014.
Elder Delbert Victor Guerin Sr. was a leader of the Musqueam, recognized internationally for his contributions to Aboriginal rights. Delbert was also a friend to many at UBC, who knew him from Wednesday nights at Musqueam 101, where he was a regular and valued contributor to many discussions.
Prayers and services will be held on Thursday, May 15 and Friday May 16 at the Musqueam Community Centre.
