The BC Flag (Main Mall and Agronomy Road) will be lowered on Friday, May 16,in remembrance.
Professor Emeritus Stanley Blank passed away on May 14, 2014.
Dr. Blank was first appointed to UBC in 1967 and retired in 1993 as Professor Emeritus of Educational Psychology and Special Education. Stan helped to establish the University Transition Program that brings academically gifted VSB secondary students to UBC with the goal of early entrance.
The funeral will be held on Friday May 16 at 1:00 pm at Beth Israel Cemetery – 1721 Willingdon Avenue, Burnaby.
