The BC Flag (Main Mall and Agronomy Road) will be lowered on Monday, September 29, in memory of Professor Emeritus Roger A.L. Sutton DM, FRCPC, who passed away on September 10, 2014.
Dr. Sutton came to Vancouver in the mid 1970s, where he became Head of the Division of Nephrology, and Head of the Department of Medicine at the Vancouver General Hospital, retiring in 2002. He was awarded the Medal in Medicine by the Royal College of Physicians of Canada in 1978.
A Celebration of Roger’s Life will be held in the Auditorium at the Chan Centre for Family Health Education at 938 West 28th Avenue, Vancouver, on Wednesday, October 1, 2014 from 4 – 6 p.m. For information or directions, please call (604) 875-2382
