The BC Flag (Main Mall and Agronomy Road) will be lowered on Wednesday, November 5, in remembrance.
Professor Emeritus Mark W. Zacher passed away on October 25, 2014. Mark was a professor for almost 40 years in the Department of Political Science, retiring in 2003. He served as Director for the Centre of International Relations from 1971 to 1991, making significant contributions to the scholarship of international affairs.
A celebration of Mark’s life will be held at Cecil Green Park House on the UBC campus at 5:00 pm on December 11.
