Professor Emeritus Frederick A. Gornall passed away on December 21, 2014. Fred came to UBC’s Faculty of Educational Science in 1959, where he specialized in the teaching of botany and flora. Dr. Gornall was Chair of the Department of Science Education from 1972 to 1978, and retired from UBC in 1983.
