The Canadian flag and the BC flag will be lowered on Tuesday, April 28, in recognition of the National Day of Mourning, to remember lives lost in the workplace and resolve to prevent future tragedies.
All are welcome to gather at the north end of campus by the Flag Pole Plaza at 11:00 a.m. A procession will be piped down to the memorial site between the Liu Centre and the Rose Garden. There will be a moment of silence followed by a few speakers. Closing remarks will be at around 11:40 a.m.
