Professor Emeritus Tory I. Westermark passed away on April 26, 2015. Dr. Westermark first came to UBC in 1962, after teaching and serving as Principal in the public school system. During his tenure in the Department of Language Education, he served in a broad range of research and teaching positions, and as Acting Head during the 70s. Dr. Westermark retired in 1988.
