The BC Flag (Main Mall and Agronomy Road) will be lowered on Wednesday, May 6, in remembrance.
Dr. Jiang-Hong (Neidy) Gong passed away on April 26, 2015. Neidy came to the Biomedical Research Centre in 1993, where she was engaged in cutting-edge research on the role of chemokines in arthritis. She left UBC in 2005 to take up a faculty position at the University of Saskatchewan.
A Memorial service for family and friends will be held at Glenhaven Memorial Chapel, 1835 East Hastings Street, Vancouver, BC on Saturday, May 9, 2015 at 11:00 am.
