Professor Emeritus William Stuart Maddin passed away on May 21, 2015. Dr. Maddin attended UBC as an undergraduate and returned to Vancouver to take up clinical practice and an affiliation with UBC Dermatology that would span over 50 years. Stuart’s colleagues acknowledge his legacy of innovation, mentorship and academic contributions as an influential leader in the field. He will be remembered by his colleagues attending the World Congress of Dermatology, to be held in Vancouver for the first time in June.
