Shae Frattura passed away on July 31, 2015 at the age of 37. Shae was in the final term of completing his post-baccalaureate Bachelor of Education degree at UBC’s Faculty of Education, with a Secondary teaching specialization in Business Education. He engaged deeply in his teacher education; his excitement for teaching made a profound impression on others in all his interactions. Shae also loved coaching basketball and contributed to the development of youth athletics in this regard. He will be greatly missed by the Faculty of Education, his instructors, colleagues, and friends.
