Professor Emeritus Shirley D. Nalevykin passed away on August 28, 2015. Dr. Nalevykin was first appointed to the Faculty of Education in 1959. Dr. Nalevykin’s research and professional development outreach focused on Movement Education, Gymnastics and Dance and Problem Solving in Physical Education. She served as Chair of the Department of Teacher Preparation from 1972 until her retirement in 1985.
