The BC Flag (Main Mall and Agronomy Road) will be lowered on Monday, October 26, in memory of Fred Koch.
Fred Koch was a Research Associate in the Department of Civil Engineering (Pollution Control and Waste Management) for almost 40 years before passing away on September 15, 2015. Many research graduate students benefitted from having worked closely with Fred over the years. He leaves behind a legacy of important research contributions. Fred was also a musician and co-founder of a small recording company. He will remembered by colleagues and friends for his enthusiasm.
