Professor Emeritus John Trevor Malcolm Sandy, FRCSC, FACS passed away on October 15, 2015. Dr. Sandy first came to VGH as a Resident Surgeon, in 1951. Dr. Sandy held a number of surgical and medical administrative leadership positions while training and mentoring generations of medical students until his retirement in 1994.
