The BC Flag (Main Mall and Agronomy Road) will be lowered on Wednesday, December 2, in remembrance.
Dr. Maurice F. Strong, PC, CC, OM, FRSC passed away on November 28, 2015. Maurice Strong was conferred with an Honorary Doctor of Laws by UBC in 1973. Dr. Strong was an internationally recognized environmentalist and philanthropist, who has been credited with placing the environment on the international agenda.
