Professor Emeritus James Dennis Forbes passed away on January 28, 2016. Dr. Forbes was first appointed to UBC Commerce in 1967, retiring from the Marketing and Behavioural Science Division at the Sauder School of Business in 1997, where he served as Chair of the Marketing Division. His research focused on Canadian agriculture and food policy; he shared his knowledge serving on many committees and was an award-winning teacher.
