Martha Stella Bonilla, passed away on July 25, 2016, at the age of 33, shortly before moving onto to her second year of graduate studies in Human Development, Learning, and Culture in the Department of Educational and Counselling Psychology, and Special Education (ECPS) within the Faculty of Education. A thoughtful and dedicated doctoral student, Martha was known for her unwavering support of her colleagues, her interest in understanding human creative capacities, and her commitment to ensuring that her research with young people in at risk environments would have an impact in her beloved country of Colombia.
