Professor Emeritus Samuel Pao-San Ho passed away on July 20, 2016. Dr. Ho joined the UBC Department of Economics in 1970. During his time at UBC, he served as the Head of the Economics Department from 1985 to 1989 and the Director of the Centre for Chinese Research at the Institute of Asian Research from 1996 to 1999.
