The BC and UBC flags (at the North Plaza of the Old SUB) will be lowered on Monday, May 29, in remembrance.
Ms Grace Mary McCarthy, OC, OBC, passed away on May 25, 2017. Ms McCarthy was conferred an honorary Doctor of Laws degree by UBC in 2003 in recognition of her strong leadership as a businesswoman, politician, and community advocate.
