Professor Emeritus John Seymour Conway passed away on June 23, 2017. Dr. Conway was appointed to the Department of History in 1955, teaching international studies and modern European history for 40 years, retiring in 1995. His research was focused on the history of German churches under Hitler. He continued to lecture at UBC and elsewhere in his retirement.
