The BC and UBC flags (at the North Plaza of the Old SUB) will be lowered on Thursday, April 19, 2018, in remembrance.
Professor Emeritus Terence William Anderson passed away on March 16, 2019. He started at UBC in 1980, where he became Head of the Department of Health Care and Epidemiology. He retired in 1992 and went on to become a medico-legal expert witness. A Memorial Fund in Epidemiology has been created to honor his legacy.
