The BC and UBC flags (at the North Plaza of the Old SUB) will be lowered on Thursday, April 19, 2018, in remembrance.
Librarian Emeritus Shui Yim Tse passed away on March 16, 2018. Mr. Tse was Chinese Librarian at UBC’s Asian Library from 1968 until his retirement in 1999. He built cultural bridges throughout his life through his work as a writer, translator, curator and master calligrapher.
