The BC and UBC flags (at the North Plaza of the Old SUB) will be lowered on Monday, July 16, in remembrance.
Clinical Professor Jim Thorsteinson passed away on July 3, 2018. Dr. Thorsteinson had an appointment with UBC for over 25 years and was the Head of St. Paul’s Hospital’s Department of Family Practice. Dr. Thorsteinson will be remembered by the Department of Family Practice for his contributions as a family physician, clinical professor, and mentor to young medical residents.
