The BC and UBC flags (at the North Plaza of the Life Building (the Old SUB) will be lowered on Tuesday, August 21, in remembrance.
Professor Emeritus Robert Cameron Steele passed away on August 2, 2018. Professor Steele was a printmaker; he joined the Faculty of Education in 1962, moving to the Fine Arts Department in 1988, where he taught until his retirement in 1990. He designed the graphics program and set up the graphics studio behind the Scarfe Building.
