The BC, Musqueam and UBC flags (at the North Plaza of the Life Building (the Old SUB) will be lowered on Tuesday, April 23, in remembrance.
Peter Wanyenya, PhD student of the Institute for Gender, Race, Sexuality and Social Justice and former UBC staff member, passed away on March 31, 2019.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, April 23 at 4:00 p.m. at the Sty-Wet-Tan Great Hall in the UBC First Nations Longhouse (1985 West Mall). All are welcome.
