Keizo Nagatani
The BC, Musqueam and UBC flags (at the North Plaza of the Life Building) will be lowered Tuesday, October 13, in remembrance. Professor Emeritus Keizo Nagatani passed away on September 26. Dr. Nagatani taught in the Vancouver School of Economics and was inducted into the Quarter Century Club in 1996.
Kim Stevenson
The BC, Musqueam and UBC flags (at the North Plaza of the Life Building) will be lowered Tuesday, October 13, in remembrance. Dr. Kim Stevenson passed away on April 19, 2020. Dr. Stevenson was currently working as a Clinical Assistant Professor with the Department of Anesthesia, Pharmacology, and Therapeutics.
John Turner
The Canada Flag (at Flagpole Plaza), BC, Musqueam and UBC flags (at the North Plaza of the Life Building) will be lowered on Monday, September 21, in remembrance. The Right Honorable John Turner, P.C., C.C., Q.C. passed away on September 19, 2020. Dr. Turner received an honorary degree from UBC in 1994.
Stephen Drance
The BC, Musqueam and UBC flags (at the North Plaza of the Life Building) will be lowered on Monday, September 21, in remembrance. Professor Emeritus Stephen Michael Drance O.C. passed away on September 2, 2020. Dr. Drance taught in the department of Ophthalmology for over 20 years, and he received an honorary degree from UBC in 1998.
Seung Kim
The BC, Musqueam and UBC flags (at the North Plaza of the Life Building) will be lowered on Monday, September 21, in remembrance. Professor Emeritus Seung Kim passed away on August 7, 2020. Dr. Kim taught in the faculty of Medicine, Neurology division.
Edmond Granirer

Professor Emeritus Edmond Ernest Granirer passed away on August 31, 2020. Dr. Granirer taught Mathematics for over 25 years and was inducted into the Quarter Century Club in 1996.
